In 1997, Ron Arad and his London-based studio were invited by Domus magazine to create a “temporary totem pole in Milan†to be on display during the annual Salone del Mobile furniture fair. The creative team produced a sculpture of 100 stacked chairs, one of which evolved into the T. Vac Chair (1999), also known as the Tom Vac Chair. Arad is known for creating novel forms with highly graphic lines, and the compelling wave-shape of this seat does not disappoint. T. Vac is suitable for use in a variety of applications, including conference rooms, restaurants, homes and reception areas. It’s stackable up to five high, and its wide base and well-spaced legs provide extra stability. Made in U.S.A. White Ron Arad: T. Vac Chair.
